Reserve your seat on AI

Dear All,

I am flying BKK EWR via BOM next week in C and I'd like to book my seat.
I have tryed on AI Website in the "view booking as guest" section.
I entered my reservation code my first and last name and I always get
an error !

My booking number is fine as on Checkmytrip it pulls up. And I am pretty sure of my name.

If someone can help me it would be great !

The website is terrible.

You may just have to call into a ticket office to get a seat assignment.

I agree the website is terrible ! Also when you try to book a ticket you can't have the conditions of the fare.

That was my feared... Calling them as I rather like to make my seat pick knowing how the cabin is.

Strange on KVS the cabin is not accurate it shows a different aircraft.

i come across this error very often....the best thing to do is to call them to block your seat & also ask them what type of aircraft it is....

What's the flight #/date?

It may take AI some time to update the Aircraft Type Code, but the Seat Map itself that is shown via the KVS Tool should always be real-time.

Flight is AI191 on 21SEP
Here is the seat map on Seat Guru (whihc is IMO accurate as I already flew with this aircraft)

Here is what KVS Shows (IMO it is wrong) :

There is a roiw 13 which is strange ! Normally no row 13 in aircraft...

Alson based on my previous flight with AI BOM EWR the row 12 and 14 seats DEF are reserved to crew for resting, another strange habit of AI. The crew are closing the middle seat in business with a curtain to sleap.

AI domestic planes used to have a row 13 earlier, perhaps they removed it from the long haul planes. Indigo also has row 13.

Your KVS Tool screenshot actually indicates 22 Sep 2015.

In any case, AI's systems appear to be returning a Seat Map for a C Cabin with 7 rows, which does not match any current aircraft in their fleet.

Yes that's weird but with AI nothing is really surprising.
