9W allows mobile boarding pass?
So the mobile boarding pass doesn't work obviously but if booking 9w from mobile device, it can add trip details to passbook.. And airport security accepted the passbook version at BOM, BLR and DEL in the last week.. No more PDF searching in email!

Well the Mobile BP works like a charm in IDR and HYD. And I do not remember If i ever had any problems in Mumbai, although most of the times I have a boarding pass already (Mumbai is mostly a transit for me).

I've been using the PDF web boarding pass to enter pretty much every major airport in the past 2-3 months..
When I last spoke to some 9W rep she said they're working on installing self check-in machines that scan your mobile BP and print out a paper one for you.

PDF has always been working for last year or so since CISF allowed it - what i was talking about is the little jpg image you get as mobile BP when checking-in.. Never had that accepted by CISF at either BLR/BOM/DEL but the iPhone passbook version is acceptable to them.. unfortunately, the passbook entry is only received when booking from mobile phone..

There's a lot of inconsistency across airports. I've used the pdf received over email (on my mobile phone) as well as the electronic boarding pass with the QR code, to enter the airport, in DEL, BOM and BLR. The issue has generally been around the photo-ID - while most airports are flexible, I've generally seen issues being raised by some (not all) security personnel in BLR.
In any case, you will need a hard copy boarding pass in order to get through security checks, and that doesn't look like being changed any time soon!

Yup I know what you mean.. Along with the jpg image, Jet also emails you a PDF boarding pass (Not the ticket copy) that works well enough..
