Jet EWR-BOM

Guys - has anybody noticed the non-stop flight from EWR to BOM is no longer operating? I only see the flight with the Brussels stop. Does anybody know if Jet plans to bring it back?

Thx

Jet never had a non-stop. They used BRU as a hub for their flights to North America from India, so all of them stopped there.

UA and AI operate nonstops on EWR-BOM. 9W operates this route via Europe.

maybe the confusion for the op is that the flight from ewr-bom has the same flight number (9w 227), whereas ewr-del is 9w 227 from ewr-bru & then 9w 229 from bru-del....but both flights stop in bru....there is no non-stop....

May be someone might have said that there was a direct flight from EWR to BOM.

9W has operated flights from EWR to BOM (227) and flights from Toronto to Delhi (229). These are flights have always made a stopover in BRU (they all arrive at BRU and depart from BRU almost together).

These allows cross transfer of pax.

There was only a brief period lasting few weeks when ATH was used instead of BRY when BRU was closed due to vulcano dust.
