Red face This forum does have influence

Based on advice from this forum I've switched business from AI/Jet between now and December on

(1) DEL -HKG DEL. from F to J on Cathay ( completed, no regrets)

(2) DEL-LHR-DEL to EK (F) ( completed, no regrets)

(3) DEL - PVG-DEL from AI J to CX J

(4) 2x DEL-Australia DEL from AI J to SQ J/F

Now that's a lot of business from one traveller ... India based airlines should take this forum seriously... You get good impartial advice here and it does affect pax choice.... at least this Fter pax
I must say the disappointing feedback on AI seats, food, and especially Maharaja club was the deciding factor. Jet just did not make the grade....

A bigg thank you to everyone who helped me. Until the Tata SIA initiative I'm staying off India based airlines internationally ( while very content with Indigo and Gobusiness on domestic)

In fact, this forum is constantly monitored by a few service providers, including- JetAirways / JetPrivilege, ICICI Cards and now the so called SBI Cards as seen in the AI-SBI CC thread.

A few months ago, I had a positive experience with Jet, when they picked up an issue I had posted here and resolved it for me. ^

I swear by my JP Miles.. their 'Guest Relationship Officer' sorted out a few things on my bookings. ^

Their Twitter team is effective as well, but unlike DL its not online 24/7.

Wow, after reading the trip report and seeing the ( for me) disgusting pics of the food and the lurid badly designed seat, and the poor wines, and the service deficiencies big thank u for all the advice I got on thus forum, which made me decide to stick with Cathay and Singapore for my forthcoming three trips to Hong Kong, Canberra and Sydney.

That is the exact same seat everyone loves on TK J. Its one of the standard seats that comes with the 777 and 787 made by Countour/Zodiac UK: http://www.contour.aero/businessclass/auralite

The only thing unique to it is the AI color scheme

Very nearly everything looks revolting.

And the food resembles something when it's on it's way into the motion discomfort bag.

The food served seems to be a lot worse than those served from other airlines in Y
