When a CC is run through the GDS, the AIRLINE collects the money.
Any commission payable is settled to the agent through the BSP.
i.e. July 2013 statement

my cc bills come up with my ta's name....either way, the op wanted to know if he would get the bonus miles on his cc if he booked with a ta & the answer is 'no'....he would only get the bonus if he booked with the airline directly....

He wouldn't get miles if he booked with your TA. If he booked with a TA who processes credit cards through GDS, he would get bonus miles.

really????if that is indeed true then the airline shouldn't say that the only way to get bonus miles is to book directly with them....
