ATQ or IXC Internationals?

Would any of you know if any International flights are being planned from the Punjab region? There are lots of rumors but nothing ever fizzles out. Used to be nice when Jet, BMI and SQ used to fly there. There were recent rumors of TG and Air Arabia starting flights but nothing.

Is the lack of premium cabin traffic the reason why flights never work out or the fact that its seasonal?

Oliver would you know the answers to my other questions? Why can't a premium airline make a lasting impression at ATQ?

perhaps the traffic just isn't there to make it worth it for the airlines....

I remember the twice weekly SQ flight used to be full to the brim in the back. But airlines need premium traffic too. Maybe that was the reason?

Or the Punjabi's out drank the bar leaving SQ making losses.

A friend in 9W validates that statement. He also feels the only way to fill the biz class on a ATQ flight to the UK is via Delhi, and hence, the B788 is going to backtrack to DEL rather than do a DEL-ATQ-BHX next month.

Looks like the 1205 departure from DEL is on the 788....

Right... Anyone know of a cheap way to fly this bird in Business on this route? Any standby upgrades?

If you have flying returns miles sitting around, it's a potential use.

Alternatively, GUF?
