First row in spice jet
For a lack of flight options I ended up taking a flight on spice jet 737 700 this week. I was in 4 C and the entire first row was empty. So after completion of boarding I asked to move to row one but was told by FA that I can move to any row except the first row. Several others asked as well and were told the same.
I am unsure what is is spice jet policy on seat assignment for the first row. Any thoughts ?

First row is reserved for employees until the flight is closed. At that point, they are usually willing to allow passengers to move to the first row, but not always. It's a very frustrating policy.
