Don't have enough info on the CCU new terminal lounges yet, to write it full fledged, but here's what I gathered today.. There is a lounge on the extreme left side of the domestic terminal, right opposite gate 1A/1B.. Since that gate is closed, you would be entering from gate 3A/3B and then checking in and walking all the way back towards gate 1A.. the lounge is before security clearance.. I din spot any lounge after security..
The lounge is designated as Mastercard Lounge.. Jet Privelege members and Air India FFP are also allowed entry, based on their membership status.. that you would have to clarify with your respective airline..
The lounge is termed as Mastercard, so it's affiliated with the mastercard program.. naturally.. so I walked in with my HDFC Platinum Plus card.. the purser came back a few seconds later and informed me that the card was declined.. he also said that most probably, HDFC and Mastercard don't carry the program together anymore.. after that he politely asked me to check if I have any other card on me and simply left, not waiting for an answer.. I did not have any card, so I quietly exited the lounge.. the purser was polite and din make a scene, nor did he come back to check on me in the next few minutes while I was checking my bag for the other card..
All in all, it was a decent lounge.. from what i could gather quickly, there was warm snacks in the lounge.. The furniture, decor etc. is exact as it was in the pre-security clipper lounge in CCU in the old domestic terminal..

Is this still true.. I tried accessing the Clipper lounge in CCU and the Plaza Premium in Delhi T3 - the card was declined.. I was using an HDFC Platinum Plus CC..

The lounge is after immigration and security.. On the extreme left after security beside the restaurant..
It a Priority Pass lounge and I believe also the airline lounges.. But NO mastercard lounge ( which is a shame since the domestic terminal has it and even the old intl terminal had it)..
I had entered to check if its a mastercard lounge and they said no, so I returned.. BUT there was not even 1 person in the lounge at that time ( 8.30PM ).. Seemed to have basic snacks and drinks..
It a Priority Pass lounge and I believe also the airline lounges.. But NO mastercard lounge ( which is a shame since the domestic terminal has it and even the old intl terminal had it)..
