IFE..???

I was wondering, whatever happened to IFE systems that made a quick appearance on AI and JET after KF set the way.. I travelled AI on MAA CCU last month and flew 9W (full service) on CCU PNQ this month, and there wasn't as much as a shred to suggest that there ever was any IFE on domestic sectors..

Any idea anyone..???

Apparently, Jet has stopped switching on the IFE on those aircrafts that have seat back systems on Domestic runs.

Anyone able to confirm?

Yeah, on full blown AI, there still is IFE on domestic legs. At least out of DEL, I haven't flown to BOM in years now...

I have been on 9W domestic flights with IFE that only switch on the IFE to show the safety videos, then switch it back off again.

Likewise. Considering that they cut out the mouth freshener (one of my big bugbears about the costcutting), they must have stopped IFE to avoid paying charges for content
