AI is extremely popular option with the FA's at private airlines in India simply because it is a job for life with a LOT of perks such as subsidised accomadation, world wide travel and stays in 5* hotels during layovers.

Most aim for 3-5 years at IT, 9W, SG and 6E before heading towards the middle east or SQ but the key difference between AI and Middle East/SQ is that they have a contract for life whereas the others is fixed term appointments. In essence, AI does not trade them in for a younger, sexier model!

Don't forget, AI have the widest international coverage of all Indian airlines.

Since IT had much higher approval here than AI, will these ex-IT FA's improve AI?
Is the lure so strong for just for FA's to jump the shop, or for other IT employees too?
IT employees voluntarily opt for bad management?

I think that anyone would agree that AI is much better managed than IT. After all, IT is the one about to go bankrupt, while AI will be around forever

These people moving from IT to AI clearly have a lot of sense, and I wish them good luck ^

Strange that AI is still recruiting with its situation. Wonder what salary they put on the offer letter.

Doesn't matter does it? It's just a job creation program, the gov't will pay for it in the end regardless...
