Advice on IT vs 9W

I need to fly DEL DUBAI next month For complicated reasons I need to buy a one way ticket. So, both Kingfisher and Jet are the same prices and much cheaper than Emirates, my ususal airline

My question is: Is any one of them better in business class (Seat, catering, IFE) or is it basically the same thing. Ive flown Jet international and quite like it but have also heard good things about Kingfisher. So its a pleasant choice, advice much appreciated

there have been many discussions on this topic & i would suggest you go with jet....

you can check out this thread below:

http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/airli...t-airways.html

besides one guy who keeps referring to surveys & ratings, pretty much everyone else agrees that jet is better....

also, i ave posted a small trip report on a kingfisher del-dxb flight in business on the following thread:

agree with Saad - stick with Jet. While IT can be brilliant on board, they are unreliable and inconsistent.
9W is far more professional and reliable.

Emirates should be better, as they run wide-bodies, and Jet has only the 73w running the DXB routes.

You might as well bank miles to the program you fly most frequently, unless you want to try the oily food they serve you on Jet intra-Asia...not worth it in my opinion.

EK would be best the best option for an INDIA-DXB on the widebodies many of which have ICE - however as the op correctly pointed EK oneway fares are very high - Biz flights EK oneway 34k, 9W - 21K, IT 21K. Given 9W/IT products on a short regional flight - I don't think EK is worth the premium.

In general EK fares EX India for DXB termination are very much higher as they want to encourage through traffic since India is a big feeder service for them.

Right - he/she can also check for onward destinations that might have lower fares, then "miss" the onward flight?
