Kingfisher new program
Has anyone had any experience with the new Kingfisher Frequent Flyer program? I am a member of several Indian and international FFP programs, but it seems that the revamped program has new features (eg: Family Club, online catalouge, and platinum tier with non expiry of miles and conceirge service).
I have been using the 9W platinum benefits, and i have been satisfied. But Kingfisher seems to have taken quite a leap ahead with some of these benefits. Any suggestions on whether it is worthwhile to switch to IT because of the program?

jet also has the non expiry of miles for their plat members so there is no extra benefit for switching to kingfisher as far as this is concerned....but the family accounts option is extremely good....i opened a family account with my wife, mother, father & brother....so whenever anyone out of the 5 of us fly i get all the miles in my account....
if kingfisher were to add some more international routes then it may be worth it to switch....
i personally prefer jet though....

The family club is one reason i would switch to Kingfisher. This is based on mine and my family's travelling patterns.
I make about 3-4 trips to India (along with my wife), my mum and dad make about 2-3 a year (with me paying for their tickets) so that all adds up.
Also if your a plat, you can get a companion reward for 50% so a LHR-BOM rtn for a plat and their partner would cost 156K rather than 208K. It all makes a difference.

another good thing about the kingfisher program is the ability to redeem miles for shopping items on their website....as a graduation gift i redeemed miles to get my brother-in-law a lcd tv earlier this year....
