Jet miles question
Hi
Im flying the LHR - SFO route, on virgin atlantic, and i would like to earn jet airways miles.
i dont have the card yet but i do have the number.
i was wondering if at check in at lhr could i get the miles for both flights if i tell them my jp number. also how long would it take if they can do it?

Not having the card doesn't matter.

If at all you're able to double-dip, not sure if you can do it at the checkin counter at LHR. You will probably need to write to them (Jet) after completing the segment with a scanned copy of your boarding pass and ticket, along with your JP number. I suppose the name on your JP account and ticket will be identical. If they find, after verification, that all is in order, they normally take about a week to update the miles to your JP account.

i always retain my boarding pass though, just in case the miles don't post & i have to send the info in to jet....

I have flown LH and OS and while check-in gave them the JP number and it reflects on the bp as well.. the miles get credited within 1 month for me but as saad says, always better to keep a scanned copy of the bp since u may be required to submit the original to ur accounting dept..
