I was checking-in (Online) a female family member for a domestic Indigo flight. The seatmap showed which seats were occupied by females. (I guess this is in case a female prefers to sit next to a female).
I never knew this functionality existed!

Has anyone tried upgrading their ticket to business class at the airport or is there an upgrade option during online check-in?

I bought a ticket for my parents months ago when there was no business class option on the DEL-BOM route. Their flight is next week & I wanted to upgrade them to business class if possible.

For AI stock ticket you'll get an upgrade offer at T-72. It's not a bid... accept offer, pay and upgrade. Otherwise upgrading at the airport is also possible but that requires waiting around and going from counter to counter... doing it online will be easier for them.

I'm asking about 6E, not AI.

I see the pics above of the nice new "stretch" business class and I'm interested in it. AeroLoPA only shows it on A321neos and some articles I see talk about it being very limited in availability. But it sounds like they're looking to expand it. I'm starting to plan a trip for January next year. Will stretch be widely available then? What are their plans for expanding it? If it matters, we're currently looking at: COK-HYD, HYD-BOM.

Theres a decent chance to get it on HYD-BOM given the rate at which theyre expanding it. But I wouldnt wager on COK-HYD having it.

IndiGo may seem like a convenient option, but be prepared for awful customer service. My baggage was delayed for over 50 hours, and when it finally arrived, expensive items were missing. IndiGo refused to take responsibility or offer real compensation. If you choose them, document everything and don't expect much help if things go wrong. Safe travels!

Bluechip is very messed up. It too me several tries to "apply" before I could see my status in the 6E portal. Even today, I think you can retroactively credit to Bluechip.

What is the best approach to contact Indigo? Call ? or Twitter (X)?

I did keep the screenshots of the cancellation page - which shows the amount to be refunded.
To close the loop -- Got the refunds about 4 months after canceling the tickets.
This should not take so long. At least i got the money back.
