What does "V" class equate on Jet Airways?

I booked a ticket on AA.com for a flight to India with some segments on Jet Airways and some on Jet Airways Konnect.
American booked me on these flights into "V" class. On aa.com under my itienarary, it shows that I am booked in Business. Does "V" class equate to "Business Class" on Jet Airways? That would be a sweet surprise for me.

No, v-class is economy.

Try allocating a seat by calling Jet - you might find out which cabin you'll be in actually! (And do let us know whether you get into biz! )

See a sample of Sabre's Konnect flight for today:

Thanks for your update, but I am thinking that I can probably use this as a reason to change my flights within India if necessary.

Economy, as SFB says. In fact, it is one of the lowest fare classes, so low, that you can't upgrade on vouchers to Biz, if your economy ticket is booked on "V" (same's the case with H, O, W and B). Plats are exceptions, though ;-)

Did u manage to get any info either from AA or 9W on this ??
IMO U can use this as a reason only if you have paid for business class .. and not if u selected and paid for economy but only the AA site shows it as business...
