as aniruddh77 posted above, miles expire 13 quarters after you have earned them....however, just before your miles expire you can use those miles to book a ticket upto 12 months in advance....

they vouchers are officially valid for 12 months from the month they are issued but i have gotten vouchers extended countless number of times....once i got a bunch of vouchers extended twice....
