International transit - bom

I will be transiting from international to international flight in BOM. Is there access straight to the international transit lounge or do i need to obtain a visa?

the lounge area is after passing immigration so my guess is that you should be able to get there without a visa....

International to International does not require a visa. You get off one plane, follow the signs for flight connections and go through security straight into the departure lounge to board your next flight. No visa requried as you do not enter India or go through Immigration.

Thanks for this, this is what I thought, but whenever i have landed before the security check to go into the transit area has never been maned, I am arriving at 3am this time and leaving again at 7am.. Maybe I just have to wait until someone comes - must admit, before i have just scooted past to get to the front of any queues!
