9w Corp Code Data Input on Website Bookings...

Does anyone actually use a corp code in their web bookings on the 9w site?

I just issued a revenue ticket and found that it stated: "JAKCASH" - when I had left that field *blank*!

Interesting - never saw that happen before...

You guys are too much!

Figured it out:

Jet
Airways
Konnect
CASH

Must be because the Konnect flights were giving back a cash amount of Rs. 200/- per sector...

However, any light on the corp codes from anyone?

Wondering how it works - I understand from rumours that the code kicks back a percentage of spend to the code holder.

Does it reduce your fare - I do not think that it would though...

The code appears to be a *promo* code, rather than a corporate code.

However, this promo code does not work on all sectors - I tried to use it on BOM-EWR, and it specifically stated that it could not be applied.

I suggest we start another stickied thread with all promo codes, similar to the M&M forum.

Not sure about fare reduction, but one other thing I heard about corporate codes is that it gives the pax partial or no miles for the sector, and instead credits it to the corporate. I know that one of our clients actually has miles in credit.

True - found it on Facebook actually. I think it works only for domestic sectors for travel dates until the IPL gets over. Just to make sure it's not only for cities that are hosting a match, I checked Varanasi to Khajuraho (did any one think that the route was 'funny' - some one attempting to moral police the airline might actually find it offending

I suggest we start another stickied thread with all promo codes, similar to the M&M

Welcome!
Thanks Looking forward to the next FT meet

So you found it how?

On Jet's Facebook page?

If so, interesting that they would post it there, and not on their main website...

Yep - on Jet's Facebook page. Sandwiched between the 'Fans' widget and the link to twitter (on the left). Probably the result of a viral marketing consultant's powerpoint to get people to join as a 'Fan' on FB

Indeed. Some might think of it as Quantity in Chennai and Quality in Delhi/Mumbai* though.
