My BP on a Jet domestic flight had my UA MP+ # but UA did not post the miles. They sent me a letter saying that Jet says the passengers name does not match! I boarded the flight using the BP. I wonder how are arguing about the name. Anyone else have issues with Jet miles being credited to UA?

Did the passenger name on the BP match the name exactly as shown in your UA MP account? If not, then that explains their response.

To the OP, Jet miles should post within 10-12 days from my experience (give it a good 14 days minimum). If it does not within 3 weeks or so, write a letter.

like uastarflyer said, if the name on your bp does not match the name on your account then you could have a problem....my name on my jp account has my first & last name, while all my tickets were booked using my first, middle & last name....due to the inclusion of my middle name on my bp i always had problems getting points & flight credit....a couple of years ago i dropped the middle name from all my bookings & have not had a problem since....

did you get in touch with jet regarding the miles or just with ua????

Last time I called UA MP+ customer service and they asked for the ticket number and be able to credit my 9W flights right away.

As a side note, the posted miles are not EQM.

I would have credited to AA - their miles are worth 2x Jet's...

i eventually did get them credited to aa....

i always get all my aa flights credited to jet because while i take about a dozen aa flights a year, i end up taking that many a month with jet....would much rather get the jet miles....

Missing UA credit from Jet

I also grew tired waiting for Jet Airways to post mileage credit to UA. After writing to customer service, Jet Airways told me that because my flights were Class H and O, I would not receive any credit. Oddly, their reservations agent made no mention of this when booking the trip and recording my UA Mileage Plus number. I've had a bad experience with this airline, and this just added to the list.

it says so very clearly on the united website that h & o class do not earn miles....

i have had a bad experience with aa so now i always check the website of the partner airline before making a reservation....
