JET mishap

On my return to SIN from MAA,I was not informed by JET either by e-mail or phone [member of their FF program] that they had PREPONED their flight and only when they called me out from Immigration Q did i realise the flight was preponed. So much for being in their FF program!!!.

These posts are read all over the word, so please avoid the use of a regional dialect of English.

Hmmm....and from your same link quoted above, this is part of that page's information:

"Prepone is an everyday word in India, where meetings, elections, weddings, movie releases, exams, court cases, and more are preponed all the time."

Note that this is a forum for Airlines of India, btw.

(I am not condoning the fact that it was used, but the way that one construes that the OP cannot use such language, which is not objectionable to say the least)

Perhaps the OP was using the 2nd Definition to refer to his experience.
