Had an excellent Cajun style chicken starter and short rib main for MEX to MAD.
No breakfast was served as 30 mins of moderate turbulence meant keeping seat belt on sign on for close to two hours and then only turning it off half way through the descent. People didnt have time to get out of pajamas into normal clothes

It really wasnt that severe. Im not fussed about the food but they had a period of more than 30 mins before the descent in which they could have allowed people to use bathrooms. Instead they kept coming on the tannoy to send people back to their seats. Crew were up and about, so definitely not a case of everyone on plane needing to be strapped in.
After a very efficient hop on Cercanias and Renfe we had a lovely early dinner in Toledo

Those two Christmas-themed desserts couldn't look much more different, if not for the candy cane I'd be wondering about the provenance of that first one. Also that's quite the head on the beer!

IB105 MAD-EZE question
Hi, in looking at IBs catering website it appears that the first meal is a breakfast and the pre-landing meal a late lunch. Is the second meal the main meal on this flight?

Can someone share details how is the catering with IBX on MAD-AGP -route. Thinking about upgrading, but if its just coffee and a chocolate bar and not freee middle seat, then not worth it.

Expect free middle seat and omelette for breakfast.
If it's the Air Nostrum service then no middle seat free (2-2 layout), you should still get a light meal, but the Iberia menu page doesn't work for those flights.
