Can I earn Elite Points on AA

Just curious how elite points work on other One World carriers.

In particular AA.

THANKS

There's also a newer chart showing the earnings for Premium Economy on AA. I cannot find it at the moment, but as one might expect, Premium Economy earns more IB Plus elite points than does full-fare Economy.

Yes, premium economy is really the sweet spot for BA/IB program for status.

But if you look on the IB website for Iberia Plus / Partners / airlines, you select your airline and then there's a link to view the earning table.

Yes, Premium Economy is an incredible deal for elite qualification, since a TATL flight earns you 425 elite points (whether you fly with IB or with AA) vs. the 500 you get with business.

You will earn fewer Avios. (assuming IB+ follows through by adding BA and AA to the revenue-based earning)

But Elite Points will stay the same. (until further notice of course...)
