Plane change ORD to MAD. Economy plus
Hey all,
Bought economy plus tix back in May for ORD to MAD and today I see they changed our plane to one that does not have economy plus, so they stuck us in economy. No emails to alert us, just happened that look at res. I'll give them a call today, but kinda crappy to pay extra for economy plus and then get put in economy without offering a refund of difference. Thoughts?

1. You can call them and asked to be rerouted on a plane with Y+ seats.
2. You fly the flight and claim downgrade compensation.
3. You can get a full refund and make other plans.

You would be entitled to a 75% refund of the cost of your downgraded PE flight if you are willing to fly Y.
Otherwise you choose another date or ask for a full refund.
