Iberia giftcard up to 50% discount for Father's Day
Just saw this offer on the Spanish Iberia website: up to 50% discount on giftcards. Might be an interesting offer.
€50 giftcard for €40
€100 giftcard for €75
€200 giftcard for €140
€300 giftcard for €195
€500 giftcard for €250
There are some conditions though. I've translated them for you:

- Only valid for flights operated by Iberia and other companies with a connection such as Iberia Express and Iberia Regional Air Nostrum, always with a leg operated by Iberia
- Offer can only be used once
- Offer valid until the 31st of March de 2018.
- Fly until 31 de diciembre.
- Not valid between del 1 de junio al 30 de septiembre.
- Only purchasable from Spain
- Only pay in Euros, y book in euros.
- Not for residents and large families (somehow people in spain living on the islands or big families get huge discounts on flights in Spain)
- Not combinable with Cash and Avios (discount with Avios)
- Not valid for Puente Aéreo.

I don’t think Iberia will check your country as far as the trip starts and finishes in Spain (no open jaws allowed). The positioning flights to and from Spain to the home country will dry up the offer theorical savings. And taking into consideration that there must have IB operated flights on each sector it means almost flying Long Haul in low season.

I saw a website that understood this parts as "only flights with origen in Spain".
Apart for long-haul flights, this promotion could also be interesting IB Elite Points Run. E.g: OVD-MAD-FRA in I (507€, with discount card for 257€) should give 600 Elite Points with Iberia (+ some Avios).

Nowhere i read that they have to originate from spain. Perhaps check with Iberia. It's father's day today here so i guess today is the last day the offer is valid for.

I used them 3 times and 2 times I have severe problems. Used it on Iberia UK website and I did NOT get E-tickets on them. I had to call them and after 6 hours on the phone it got ticketed!
