Hi everybody,
I'm currently considering purchasing a reward flight (using BA avios) on TLV-MAD-SJO for 6 November 2015 (a Friday). When looking on the timings of IB6313 (MAD-SJO) for W15 I see that they are 11:55-16:15 (11:20 hours) on Fridays, but 12:05-15:05 (10:00 hours) on any other day. Does anyone know why that difference? Does IB6313 make a stop on Fridays? Thanks.

Thanks. I now see that the same happens for TLV-MAD flights: The morning flights are showing as 6 hours long while the afternoon ones are 5 hours. It seems that IB are not that good with scheduling...

Or maybe they're just padding the schedules where possible to try and reduce delays (and therefore seem to increase punctuality and potentially decrease compensation liabilities)?

Well... maybe is not the reason but... flights operated by A346 use to be "quicker" flights that one operated by A343/A342... I noticed that since a couple of years ago...
