Lounge in AMS

Sorry if this has been discussed, but could not find answer.

Flying AMS-MAD in J, booked under IB, operated by I2. Do i get access lounge (no status) and if so which lounge (i assume i could go to BA lounge?)

You may have access to the BA lounge if you can access the non-Schengen area - and BA lets you in. See my thread below.

There is a lounge in the Schengen area, but apparently it is pretty bad. I have not been there though.

If you are booked under the IB code, rather than the I2, then you will get access (if you can reach the BA lounge).

If you are booked under the I2, it gets complex.

In AMS BA lounge now, pleased to report no problem getting in. Was on IB ticket, must say tho the lounge is not that great.
