I've gotten around 1000 just from buying fuel this year in 30-50 avio chunks. Doing all the little things eventually adds up to real value.

When you upgrade with Iberia you get the points of the lower class ticket you purchased.

Sorry, I couldn't find any populated thread that would be more recent than this. I will be flying IB in longhaul Y for the first time next week (unless my PE bid clears).

How many days before do the bids get accepted or not?

Is pricing always the same and if so, is it available somewhere as wiki? If not, would it be useful to create such a post?

I assume this is only on certain routes. I am not being offered it for a flight early next week to LEI via MAD.

Correct it is not for all dates or routes. It depends on the load on the flight.

How is it presented in the IB website? Does it just appear across the bar at the top when you've logged into your booking reference, or does it appear in the details of each flight in the menu on the left hand side?
And I assume it doesn't appear on the IB app..

Should be an option on the left side if it is available. Never seen it myself on the App maybe someone else can answer that.

I was offered an upgrade at online checkin and took it. Am I entitled to avios and tier points in the same was as a BA promotional upgrade?
