Point Posting Question

I just moved to Hyatt from SPG and was curious how long it takes for points to post? Any guidance? I had a stay ending last Thursday and the points have not posted yet.

Thanks for your help.

Domestic Hyatt tends to post 24 hours after checkout.

Hyatt Place tends to post up to a week later.

Agree, points for all of my stays have posted within 24hrs. Sometimes, I do have to call GP D desk for any missing points and they have been able to post them immediately.

Hyatt Place tends to post on Tuesdays - not sure what the cutoff day is before it goes into the following Tuesday - but yours should post on Tuesday.

Underpostings, mostly bonus points of any sort, are common. They are also cheerfully and promptly fixed with an e-mail.

Thanks!!! Not sure that this is something to be proud of Shows that I either spend way too much time on FT or don't post enough (given that I've been around for 9 years and am a mod)

Pete, that's less than a 1000 per year! Less than 3/day! No, you are not posting enough

As someone who has been SPG Platinum for several years but first year Hyatt Diamond, I have to say that SPG does a much better job posting bonus points. I think on average I have to contact them less than once a year. With Hyatt, I think it has to be at least 70% of time that bonus points do not get posted until I contact them.

I generally agree that 60% of my Hyatt postings are missing bonuses.

However, once the Hyatt Diamond desk is contacted and I request the bonus points, they always post within minutes, vs. the ~5x a year I contact SPG Plat concierge to correct missing points it takes one or two days to post and/or a multiple calls...

I too am perplexed as to why it is taking so long for my stays to post. Having read this thread I will be patient for another day regarding my HP stay last Wednesday (check-out last Thursday). However, I am perplexed about my Hyatt Suites stay (checked-out on Friday) and nothing posted. I checked out of the Grand Champions yesterday and nothing in the account today either.......

It is especially frustrating as I am now so close to Diamond.......

I thank the OP for this thread for I was wondering about the same question. I have been spoiled by SPG's posting of my stays 1 day after check-out so I was a bit annoyed to find that 3 days after checking out of the Hyatt Morristown this past Saturday, the stay has yet to post to my account.

Now I know something is wrong. Who do I contact? The hotel or GP and how should I express my frustration?

And with due regard to the poster above, I am Diamond, so I don't know if that was to have helped.
