Platinum Plus
I was playing around with possible dates to book an award at the Park Hyatt in Tokyo and got to a message that said there was nothing available but I could use Platinum Plus. I did some search in the forum and couldn't find anything about Platinum Plus. What is it?

Are you sure it said platinum plus?
I know I've been offered award stays at a higher point rate when regular rewards aren't available. I've now blanked out to what they call it, but it definitely ends in plus

I think you mean "Passport Plus" which is bascially a "rule buster" award level which costs 60% point premium over the "standard" award - so PH Tokyo would be 18k + 60% or approximately 28k points. Note that this type of award cannot be converted to usage of FFN. Also, "Passport Plus" is only available to Platinum & Diamond members.

Oh, you are right! I'm sorry. Perhaps as mod you can change the thread title to "Passport Plus" so as not to confuse people.
