Problems Again With Web Check-In

Second week in a row... problems checking in on-line... had to get a CSR involved... then last week I get to the hotel and they don't have my DIA status in the system... (same again this week) but the CSR I was working with tonight said the same thing and caught it. Sounds like Web Check-In ain't ready for primetime... ugh!

I was told by a CS rep that the reason we are receiving[sometimes anyway] the 1000 GP bonus is because Hyatt knows there are many problems- so we get to help them fix it. Ugh!

I had one success - Grand SF and one failure - SF Airport this week.

The failure meant that I kept not getting access to the check-in page, with a message from explorer in the bottom left, helpfully saying Errors on Page. This happened even from the terminal in the lobby at the GH SF.

I have not been able to do Web Check-in a couple times this month at Hyatt Dulles. When I try, I get to a page that asks me confirm by entering my name and check-out date. I then get an error stating they can't find my reservation, and I have to call for help. I had no problems using it for Fair Lakes or Crystal City this month, though.

Sorry if I'm the last one to figure this out, but I haven't noticed it mentioned it before in this forum: The bonus code for the web checkin is W5. Until this week, I have always had to call in to CS after my stay posted to get my web check-in bonus. I finally noticed the W5 code in the bonus section of my bill the two stays I had this past week, which I had never seen before. The bonus automatically showed up with the stay credit. Now I know to make sure W5 is in the bonus secton when I check out.

Thanks for this great tip. I too rarely have my web check-in bonuses post and I always end up having to call to get them posted. This should save me some time now that I'll just be able to tell them at the front desk to add the "G1, 1W, and W5" bonuses to my folio. Thanks................... ^

... had another problem with no DIA status when check in at Hyatt Dulles last night... thats 3 times so far ... time to call CS on this....

<Edited to Add>

Called CS, they said they would look into it... we'll see. The only suggestion is for me to carry my DIA Card... Have several more stays this weekend for FFN's...

Just tried web checkin for SF Airport Hyatt. Same error, on two different machines (Error on page, etc.).

Called Diamond customer service. "Yes, we are having aproblem and will notify the hotel. We will credit you with the web checking 1,000 point bonus after your stay posts." And thanks to previous poster who noted the W5 code. I'll be sure to mention that at checkin this p.m.

I've had two agents tell me that the SFO HR does not participate in web check-in when I've asked them to check to see if it is still on the list.

What a goofy system. No bonus codes went to the folio even though they were on the booking and were entered on the web check-in screens. I too had problems getting the screen to load.

A co-worker checked in on-line at 1pm and got the totally worst hotel room at the Calgary Hyatt. Another arrived at 8pm and got 17th floor. Hmm... I got 16th floor checking in at 9am.

It actually worked for me today at Waikiki- after failing to work a while back.

Used my treo for the first time to checkin this morning and it was a piece of cake. That makes 2 for 2 this weekend. Once from a desktop using the link posted below and once from my treo using the link in the email sent to checkin.

I used webcheckin to check in to the SFO HR the day after your post, so apparently that the list given to to the agents is incorrect.
