Just wondering Why so many for the Park Hyatt Tokyo.

Maybe somebody should petition Randy to start another FT forum called "Hyatts in Tokyo".

There were many threads about Kauai the last few weeks as well.

It is one of the best hotels in the world, arguably the best city Hyatt. Nearly everyone either has or wants to stay there. Gee, you can't say that about the HR Wichita.

I know Search is down, but it's not like we have not been discussing this property almost daily the past few weeks and it's easy enough to just look beyond the posts of the last day to see if any existing threads are readily available.

Anyone looking over the past week (which will still show only about one page worth of threads) would see most of them are about the Park Hyatt Tokyo.

...because it's popular.

And, if you don't care to know, just don't look.

Those sites are wrong- or possibly sponsored in some way. I've had nothing but amazing stays at Park Hyatt Tokyo. Amazing service and facilities. I recommend it if you can afford it.

U.S. travel magazine hotel rating sites rarely score any Japanese hotel highly since fewer Americans go to Japan on vacation, due to the (now out of date) perception that Japan is much higher cost than anywhere else in the world.

If the Euro and especially the Pound Sterling stay where they are for a while longer, that perception might eventually change.

By the way, folks, I did not even include the Grand Hyatt Tokyo threads-plural-that are coincident with the PHT threads!

Can't help but see them as they monoplize the Hyatt topics page.

FYI--I have not viewed the contents of each of those threads.

I am afraid my fellow moderator is away but I will see what I can do about consolidation.

In the meantime I am closing this one!
