Help Please - Will Work For Gp Points
Greetings All :I am approx 5K points shy of being able to extend a nite onto a Hyatt reservation for a family trip to Disney. Is there anyone who has any creative methods of gathering 5K points in the short term without travelling ? Is there someone out there who is willing to part at a reasonably cost the 5K points because Hyatt will accept inter-member transfers ?

If you meet the following criteria, you can purchase the points from Hyatt (quoted from the Hyatt website):
If member does not have a sufficient number of Hyatt Gold Passport points in their account to redeem a Gold Passport award, member may purchase up to 10% of the total number of points needed for such award. Member may purchase no more than 10,000 Hyatt Gold Passport points in each calendar year.
Hyatt Gold Passport points may be purchased at the rate of $10 per 500- points in 500-point increments, only by providing a valid credit card. The purchase price of Hyatt Gold Passport points is subject to change without notice. No monetary refunds will be given.

But it may be less of a hassle to just buy them for $25 more straight from Hyatt.

help understanding this
I'm unclear here--we can only buy 10% of points needed for a specific award? Or, we can buy 10,000 points per year without having to justify it to Hyatt?
