Plat extras points

Recently used a plat extras cert for the 1000 point dining bonus. The server took my certificate and gave it the front desk (I verified with the front desk later on). Paid by cc and have a copy of the bill. It's now over two weeks later and there is no sign of the points. They say to allow up to 6 weeks, but I can't see why it would take that long. Anyone else had trouble getting these points to post?

I believe with these certs, they have to be sent in to Omaha by the property to get the credit to your GP account.

I've used 4 this past year -- 2 Valencia, 1 Grand Champions, 1 Huntington Beach -- and after 8 weeks, only 1 posted correctly. I called GP CS and they credited the points right away. I saved the receipts and offered to fax them in but they said they did not need it; it sounded as if it is common that individual hotels don't send the certs in to Omaha. I recommend you keep your receipt and then call GP after the 8 week period.

I've never used these for the dining bonus but am considering it since they're pretty much useless for evrything else outside the US. Do the receipts actually mention that you've used the Plat Extras certificate?

My experience is that it does tend to take a little longer for these to post than the actual stay. Hang in there. They finally show up. Never knew why, but I've never had a problem.

Are these the ones with black writing and little boxes for your number?
I was given a couple of these from family members and specifically dined at a couple of hyatt restaurants and when I did not get the points I emailed them and was told that as I had never recieved one that I would not be given the credit.I am diamond and felt that my points would be more usable!
I didnt think it said not transferrable.

so we all lost out.
I could have just put the family members no on the cert.
