Changes to the Lifetime Globalist Program? [No]
Hello Globalists,
I start this thread by claiming may be I did not know about the changes and someone out there does.
Last year, I called to see how many nights I was away from Lifetime Globalists (since Hyatt has now hidden the lifetime nights from the people who earn them), I was told I am away 60 nights. I already have 48 nights this year and am on track for about 80+ nights. To my surprise, the World of Hyatt Globalist Customer Service agent who answered, 'Could not find' where my life time nights are and after 22 minutes of off and on hold told me, now it is on points only and one will need 1 Million points in order to get lifetime Globalist status. This was news to me.
So I asked to speak to a Manager and someone showed up after another 29 minutes and said, 'the change took place several years ago."
Are other Globalist aware of this change? Did Hyatt send an email or has disclosed this to others?
Please share your thoughts. Thank you!

Lifetime Globalist status has required 1,000,000 base points to qualify since 2016 when World of Hyatt was launched and Globalist status was created.
Lifetime Globalist - World of Hyatt - still 1million base points
World of Hyatt [Pre-Launch]
My recollection is that Lifetime Diamond also required 1,000,000 base points when the program was Hyatt Gold Passport.

Earning lifetime status, be it Diamond or Glob, has required 1,000,000 base points since the lifetime program was rolled out more than 20 years ago. At one time, it also required a minimum of 10 years as a Diamond member, but that was removed when WoH was rolled out.

I have to say, this subject line briefly sent me to a panic mode.

This is wrong information - nights are irrelevant to achieve LT Globalist. You need to spend 200k$, you can do so with 1 night if you can and wish.
