Hyatt Centric Philly, two nights, a few questions

First time to the property for DD's chess tournament, noticed that points for two nights are 27k pts, and our corporate cash rate is 189, but after hefty tax, two nights cost $440, so about 1.6c per point (seems to be the right value for redemption, I also see 2c/pt value proposition too). Parking is $58/nt at the hotel and I'm explorist, so there won't be any free parking guaranteed, i can only ask nicely. Is there any reason I should use cash rate in this case? Honestly the tax/fee caught me by surprise. I do not have any credit card spending offer (spend x, get Y credit, Amex etc) so far, have one for Park Hyatt, but my local PH in DC does not sell gift card according to my phone call just now.

Want to seek your experts' opinion, just in case I missed some thing.

Thanks a lot.

Unless you're swimming in points or trying to conserve cash, pay the cash rate. It's not difficult to find award space at 2c/pt or better.
