Regency Club Lounge?

Anyone been yet / anyone have any insight into the presence/running of a lounge? The press release quoted by khabah above mentions an RC lounge, and the suites descriptions on the website talk about 'club benefits' but there are no RC rooms available....

I got this email from the hotel when I planned a stay in December [the stay didn’t happen] and asked about the presence of a club lounge:

”Regarding the Regency Club, yes it is opened and it is our pleasure confirming your complimentary access as well”

They’ve got it!

This hotel seems to have marked every single suite as a "Premium Suite". Isnt this against the Hyatt terms?

It's a copy and paste error. When you book you'll see Standard vs Premium options.

I did book and there were no standard suite options. Tried to apply a TSU and was told hotel has no standard suites. Which suite do you see as a standard suite? Trying to raise the issue with my concierge now.

We are probably going to use this hotel for a trip next spring for a couple of nights, the challenge is that none of the rooms or suites will hold 2 adults and 2 children according to the online reservation system, not even a 'Family Suite'. I emailed them and didn't get a clear answer to the question I asked and gave up for a bit in frustration but need to get back to that at some point.

For our dates next spring it shows the Regency Suite and Regency Executive Suite as Standard Suites (available as a points suite upgrade from a cash rate or cash + points options, but not points only options) and the Family Suite as a Premium Suite (again, as a points suite upgrade from a cash rate or cash + points options, but not points only option).

I don't suppose you recall if it had a connecting door to another room?

One important aspect of various suites and rooms is the view, it's not a tall hotel and not adjacent to the Pyramids, so I don't suspect the Pyramid views are great (compared to say the Mena House), but still would be nice, the website room descriptions say Regency Suites have a Pyramid view, while Regency Executive Suites may have a Pyramid or Garden view and Family Suites have a City view.

Don't think it had a connecting door.

Could see the pyramids from the suite but yes it's quite far
