We are probably going to use this hotel for a trip next spring for a couple of nights, the challenge is that none of the rooms or suites will hold 2 adults and 2 children according to the online reservation system, not even a 'Family Suite'. I emailed them and didn't get a clear answer to the question I asked and gave up for a bit in frustration but need to get back to that at some point.

For our dates next spring it shows the Regency Suite and Regency Executive Suite as Standard Suites (available as a points suite upgrade from a cash rate or cash + points options, but not points only options) and the Family Suite as a Premium Suite (again, as a points suite upgrade from a cash rate or cash + points options, but not points only option).

I don't suppose you recall if it had a connecting door to another room?

One important aspect of various suites and rooms is the view, it's not a tall hotel and not adjacent to the Pyramids, so I don't suspect the Pyramid views are great (compared to say the Mena House), but still would be nice, the website room descriptions say Regency Suites have a Pyramid view, while Regency Executive Suites may have a Pyramid or Garden view and Family Suites have a City view.
