Any DP re typical amount of time for point transfer?

I experienced everything from days to several weeks. When I complained I was informed by my useless concierge that it could take up to 6 weeks.

  1. Submitted the rococo form by e-mail on a Thursday evening (EST)
  2. Points were transferred the following Monday (i.e., 2nd business day) and I received a confirmation e-mail that (Monday) evening as well.
I submitted the form as a *.pdf file, with stuff filled in by "typewriting," and the signatures created using one of the Draw features. I.e., the folks signing were not really signing by hand. Worked fine.

I hope it goes that way for me. I used the annotate feature in Preview to add the sigs.

Geez! The inconsistency is maddening. If I don’t see it by the end of the week, I’ll call to see if they can move it along.

3 business days max. I can't remember last time it took 3 day. On day 4, make a call.

Try to call. Hopefully you get a more competent reply than me.

Update! Requested point transfer 9/1 (weekend). Points hit late night 9/4. Basically 2 business days. I was copied on the email they sent to “originator” of point transfer that transaction was finalized. Thanks all!

Easier than expected

I honestly was expecting 4 or so days but was in no rush as p2 has around 5k points from promotions and incidentals in her account so I filled out the form and had both of us sign the pdf and emailed it friday morning around 7 am. When I checked my email this morning I was pleasantly surprised to see an email from Hyatt letting me know the transfer was complete and already reflected in my balance. Well done hyatt!

Has anyone tried to do a points combine recently? I've done it many times before and usually they send an acknowledgement email within an hour or 2 and the points are processed in about a day. It's been over a week now and I still haven't received an acknowledgment email that they got my request.

I have done it twice in the last 45 days or so. First time took 3-4 days.

Second time, it took 3-4 days and I received an e-mail it was complete. Except....it wasn't. Points neither credited or debited. I e-mailed back, no response. I e-mailed another address suggested in their email ([email protected]) no response.

I finally re-submitted the original transfer form, and it was completed in about 2 days.

Any data points on how long point transfer to another member takes

Transferring some Chase Ultimate Rewards to Hyatt on my mother in law's account to my account to maximize chance to get globalist as well as book multigenerational family vacation all under my hyatt account.

Usually transfers pre-COVID took around 3-5 days at most. Wondering if any data points on how long it takes these days. I am currently at Day 3. I will keep everyone updated on my progress as well!

Just did this earlier this month and took slightly longer than expected. My friend submitted transfer request form on June 1 and the points arrived in my account on June 7.

Generally around 3-7 days is my experience. Not a lot of data points (<10), but good enough for expectations and seems to be what everyone else sees as well .
