Yup I sent mine some Milk Bar cookies last year for Christmas via above method. She was definitely appreciative but then left a few months later lol

You all are busy sending your concierge's things... meanwhile I told my concierge about a stay that was my wedding weekend, and she didn't send me anything. Nothing in the room, no card, nothing from the hotel either (even though she said she'd speak to the hotel about it). In fact, I haven't heard from her since that last email ~45 days ago. And we're supposed to send them things? Ha!

Some folks on this thread will tell you it's because you haven't cultivated a relationship with them {roll eyes}. I wouldn't be surprised to see some in the future say you should send them a gift basket.

My concierge is great. I don’t expect her to be my 24/7 on-call personal assistant. She responds in a timely manner, and goes above and beyond.

In fact, I followed up from last weeks’ email and she responded yesterday “I was out of office I’ll respond to your inquiry once I’m back from lunch”. No response. Keep in mind, I have emailed her a grand total of 3 times in over a year. Each instance resulted in no action by the hotel or ensuring that anything special I wanted to pre-arrange actually happened. My Marriott Ambassador was way more responsive and got stuff done. |

Lots of consistency then.
It’s one thing for a concierge not to be very useful for “above and beyond” type asks but it’s another when they can’t even respond to an email about a basic issue at a property, request to apply a TSU, etc etc. |
Hm, I just hit globalist last month and my concierge reached out to me within a few days. Haven't needed them for much, but so far if I email during their work hours they've responded within an hour.
|
I will say - I hadn't interacted with my concierge this year - I reached out this morning and received a reply within 15 minutes - impressive.
|
I recently sent in an email request to my concierge - it took 3 days before a colleague of hers responded. I had a follow-up question regarding the response. It's now 48 hours from my follow-up, and nada.
Not impressed so far. |
Call the phone number for your concierge. It will say they aren’t available press a number to speak to the next available one. They will sort it out for you. It’s the only way to do it
