So in order to get prompt Hyatt guest service after spending a bundle I need to go to Elonmusk.com/twitter?
Kind of sad. Hyatt what happened to the mostly stellar Omaha CS days? Now folks work out of their homes with dogs barking sometimes I miss the old Hyatt :( in a world where not much is the same any more |
It would be nice to have a chance to say goodbye and thank you to a departing concierge, rather than just getting a New Hyatt Concierge email out of the blue. Oh well, it was a good 18 months with TA, and I'll just be hopeful about TB.

I found it downright insulting be it Hyatt or whoever is responsible. It affected my business to some degree. Good luck with the new one! |
I have to give props to my concierge and her colleagues in China. I've been critical before but they've been awesome the last month
1) helped me rebook a 4 night stay at Andaz Singapore after prices dropped $100 a night. They liased w property to reprice the reservation and let hotel know my preferences for a suite which I got 2) helped me reprice an upcoming 5 night stay at PH Dubai when prices dropped $10 while maintaining my TSU where I was kindly upgraded to a specialty suite 3) helped me finish off a list of NYC properties that offer free parking on award nights 4) dealt with GH Changsha when I had massive booking problems. They got me the reservation when prices dropped and helped secure a suite for me. All in all, the concierge has been awesome the past few months |
I have to shout out DM again if I forgot to last time but as always excellent response time and assistance. I sent an email yesterday fully expecting to wait days as they catch up to MDW backlog but she responded promptly this morning. It wasn't time sensitive, just confirming that my 3 SUAs were applied which Twitter said but I wanted to have in email.

I too have to shout out to my WoH Concierge for her amazing assistance!
I emailed her late yesterday evening to ask her to apply a TSU to my stay at The Shay in Culver City in October for my son's wedding, as everyone in the wedding party will be staying there for that weekend. And about an hour ago, I got her email confirming that I have been upgraded to the hotel's Premium suite King bed which has more gathering space than the King Suite since I need to entertain friends and relatives. She has also requested a bigger suite if the hotel is able to provide to me, as a courtesy! I am so glad to have her as my WoH concierge! |
Interesting to read so many positive replies suddenly. Are they making significant changes and augmenting the skills of the (US) staff? As I have reported, mine in Mainz has always been great.
She has also let me know, that her personal Hyatt e-mail address has changed, so they may be making general changes?? just a thought. |

My initial positive experience with my new concierge DW has gone by the wayside, with multiple email questions receiving no response after weeks. I sent another question today, so we'll see if there's any change...

If I were Hyatt I would attempt to implement ChatGPT4 as a virtual concierge to make immediate responses to Globalists....the day is coming....

Question for the veterans here - I just made Globalist for the first time about two weeks ago (legit 60 nights, not Bilt) - while I got the generic 'you made Globalist' email from Hyatt, I haven't received any intro or information about an assigned concierge or how to contact that person. Is that normal, or should I still be awaiting some kind of intro? I have some bookings/SUAs I'd like to work through, so would be good to know how to reach this person.

you can also simply call the Globalist line to apply your TSU. as a pre-advice which is a typical question….. if you have a cash reservation your Suite will be reflected in your reservation. If it is a points reservation it will not, there will simply be a remark which may or may not be visible to you. But if the agent confirms, then you arey usually fine. enjoy your status !! |

big tip check out to see if suite certificate is gone from your account to confirm
I've never had a problem with a Hyatt SUA upgrade, even when there was no confirmation and the upgrade cert wasn't pulled in advance. There is a leap of faith involved. |
