Any thoughts on the potential award category for this one? Considering a weekend from Seoul with friends.

Probably a 3 or 4. If I had to guess, they will open as a 3.

Any word on the new opening date, or if it's opening at all?

They were hiring on Facebook and a GM is in place. I've been hearing Q1 2021 but with COVID probably best to delay the opening as long as possible to save on operating costs, etc. Korean staycationers alone can't sustain a 1600 room city resort.

I'm not surprised. Without that vaccine, global travel at 2019 level will not resume for the foreseeable future. South Korea probably doesn't even want US tourists coming in given the disaster over there.

I believe you. Given how close Mainland China is to Jeju, I'm not surprised.

Where exactly on the app? The property doesn't show up when you look up the rate via the app. On the website, they didn't put the hotel on the Category list either.

The category depends on the ADR not on what the owner likes to do.
