Transfer/Gifting DSU Certificates
Any recent datapoints on transferring/gifting/applying dsu certificates to other people's stays/accounts? Some of the bloggers seem to have had "giveaways" of their expiring dsu certificates but not sure if those ever went through successfully.

I've never done it so can't say for sure, but typically when I have heard of things like this, it has been done with the person's name attached to the reservation.
So, if person A has an upgrade they want to let person B use then person A makes the reservation in their name, adds person B to the reservation, and person B checks in. Person A typically never makes it to the hotel....
Or, you never know if someone got lucky and found another work around.
