Why does Rocketmiles show more booking options than hyatt.com?
Just booked my first Rocketmiles stay (at HR La Jolla for 4K UA miles bonus) and they had a room/breakfast/parking option that does not show on hyatt.com (it shows either breakfast OR parking option). Anyone know if I will have trouble getting the hotel to honor my King room w/breakfast & free self parking? Price was $169 +taxes.

A fairly new third-party booking website that will give you miles in a variety of FFPs in return for booking your hotel stays through them.
Sometimes it's the same rate you could get elsewhere and you'll get a certain amount of miles for booking with them (basically they're sharing the commission income they receive with you), other times you end up paying a premium to earn those miles, so it may not be worthwhile.

Still not sure why hyatt.com doesn't show a free breakfast + free self-parking rate. Unless self-parking is always free.

Checked in a few hours ago and got a nice, high floor, corner room (xx35). They honored the free breakfast & free self-parking. Very nice remodel. Everything looks new & shiny.

Similarly, when I was looking to book places for the Valentine's Day in NYC - Hyatt.com told me that all hotels were sold out, while booking & pcln had rooms on Herald Square/ Grand Hyatt/ Andaz WS for $120-$150 range.
@Hyatt Concierge's response:
Third part sites buy rooms for the hotelsl. They may still have rooms even though rooms directly thru the hotel are sold out.
