I assume the expiration date of July 31 means the stay must occur by July 31, correct? One could read it as the reservation must be made and the certificate pulled by July 31st for a stay that could occur after July 31st. I think I know the answer, but just wanted to confirm.

Even if it gave 2 stays/5 nights like the SPG Amex it would make my life easier.
