I think it would make more sense to donate cash directly if you want to support the cause and to use your points at Hyatt hotels.

If I were Hyatt I would be embarrassed for promoting this disaster relief.

Each 5,000 point donation results in a $25 USD gift to the American Red Cross... are you serious... IS THAT IT??? $25????

You can make a bigger donation if you donate directly... donate what it would cost you to earn 5,000 Hyatt Gold Passport Points.

It seems to me Hyatt is making a profit off of this offer.
