I'm unsure if the taxi's accepted credit cards, but they all accept USD or EC$. We were not upgraded to one of the top floor suites with a private pool.

We did have a fantastic taxi driver that took care of us the entire trip. DM me if you'd like his contact info.

I would note that ATMs on the island that accept foreign debit cards are very scarce, so bring cash with you.

We visited the Marriott Casino and the ATM was out of cash and the desk wanted 5% to give you cash directly. We were told the next nearest ATM was at the airport.

Can you comment on the prices at the PH restaurants and general drink prices (Beer, cocktails)?
Thanks

Wife and I just got back from 3 night at Park Hyatt St. Kitts. Restaurants were pricey, we only ate at one of them, and for the both of us it was $120 US all in. $30-$100/dinner item. $7 for the fruit punch drink we got (we don’t drink much alcohol). The room service was more reasonably priced in the low to upper $20’s. Also everyone took USD and we didn’t even encounter any ECD. The taxis can rip you off because they know if you’re staying at Park Hyatt you’re probably fairly well off. Make sure to agree before each ride. Shouldn’t be more than $30 to get to the hotel. If you have any other questions feel free to ask. It was truly an excellent experience and the staff was unbelievably nice. My wife met the executive chef who was mingling with the guests at the breakfast. He was really nice and clearly took a lot of pride in his job and Hyatt in general. We really can’t wait to go back.

Is there any private car service on island that is reasonably affordable and reliable? Sending my Wife and 2 kids ahead of me, and they will be arriving close to 10pm....any suggestions? Hotel arranged transport being the last resort if all fails.

Has anyone seen copies of all the PH menus? I would love to see each restaurants menus, prices, etc... If anyone has pics or knows of a review that posted them please post here.

Also does PH offer car rentals? If so any details on that. Would love to be able to rent a car for a day while there. It would much easier if the hotel itself had rentals on hand vs trying to get one off site.

Award dates are now wide open. Looks like They finally realized that they're not selling out the hotel in January as they thought they would

Well what's super annoying was that they clearly had base level rooms they weren't even offering for cash, hoping people would pay for upgraded rooms. Then they opened up all the rooms but the base rooms are 25% more expensive than the upgraded rooms were in the first place. Clearly need to work on revenue management there, but I'm happy to be staying on points if anyone else is there the last week of Jan!

Yep. At least you're getting good value out of your points! For me combining with Citi prestige 4th night free came out cheaper than using 120k points so I'm happy either way and I get 4 extra nights of stay credit.

The only defense I could think of for them was that maybe a bunch of rooms were not completed and recently they just completed them and added them to the inventory. But that doesn't explain the raise in cash rates.
