Very disappointing. And I am puzzled that a HR would become a DT rather than a Hilton after the renovations they made.
I hope Hyatt is planning for another property in Montreal, otherwise this is a hole in the portfolio. And SLH will not help in that respect.

I was a little disapointed that no compensation at all is being offered. Stayed at this regency about 6 weeks ago and the remodel of the rooms was great.
It was clearly remodeled to a Hyatt design so no idea why they are changing brands after all that work.

! It's a great bargain (esp. in summer) at 8K a night or 12K for RC rooms! I'm surprised it's not a Cat. 3 (12K/ 17K!) I bet it will cost 50K Honors points per night (40K si on est chanceux!)

I look forward to seeing them in small claims court. No offer for anything to cover airfare or the canceled hotel. Offer to pay for lodging at the prevailing doubletree rate.
