Upgrade Cert Work at Hyatt Waikiki Beach?
I can't seem to get a definitive answer on if a platinum upgrade certificate would work on my stay at the Hyatt Waikiki Beach. It's booked under a corporate rate and it's lised as a resort so will it fly to try to use for a Grand Club Upgrade?
If so do you usually have to request an upgrade in advance or just present cert at checkin (where accepted).

Since HR Waikiki is resort, don't think plat.cert can be used

The platinum extras cert says
"Regency club or grand club upgrade ( valid in the us and Canada only; not valid at Hyatt resorts)"
Does that mean this is a room upgrade certificate?

Hawaii Hyatt resorts not valid;
but if plat.cert expire beyond June, you have time to use at non-resort Hyatt hotels with Regency/Grand club in major North America cities.
