New Hyatt projects...

I just found some information on possible new Hyatt hotels on the internet. Tell me your thoughts about them...

ATHENS
The Hotel Grande Bretagne, currently closed for renovation, could be sold from Starwood to the Hyatt Corporation and would then possibly be opeated as a Grand Hyatt.

CARTAGENA
This colombian city could see the arrival of the Grand Hyatt brand with a proposed 350 room hotel.

DENVER
Across from the (new) convention centre there will be a large 1100 room strong Hyatt hotel. This might possibly become a Grand Hyatt.

HSINCHU
A 250 room property is planned here in Taiwan.

KUALA LUMPUR
The Grand Hyatt property planned here still seems to be in the works.

LOS CABOS
A Hyatt is said to be built in this mexican resort.

ORLANDO
The largest Hyatt will be built in Orlando also with good access to the convention centre (linked via sky bridge) and offering 1500 rooms.

PANAMA CITY
Panama City seems to get the homeplace for a 300 room hotel and Casino.

SAIGON
The first Vietnam property will be a Park Hyatt in Saigon offering 250 rooms.

Hyatt is said to look into adding hotels in the following markets:
Brisbane, Cairns, Munich and Sydney

Please note that most of these projects are still not announced officially.

I travel for fun about twice a year to Taiwan and usually fine myself at the Grand for a few nights coming in and going out.

LAST year, the staff said the Hsinchu Grand Hyatt was suppose to open early this year. Is it open yet? I have always like the Grand Taipei, but am ready for a new Hyatt.

Thanks for the website!

What and when is your source? Hotel Grande Bretagne was reopened since 03/01. I'd a reservation at the end of March. Unfortunately, canceled my trip since the war broke out....
