Increase in Suites Given
I don't know if it is a new policy, or just my luck--but as a Diamond, for the past 3 stays at different properties, I've been given a suite by Hyatt. The properties included the Regency O'Hare and the Regency Atlanta (twice). This is a distinct (for me) change from past policy, where I was given a RC room, but never a suite. The front desk staff also seems to make a point of welcoming me back by name and going out of their way to make sure all is going well with my stay. Now I'm not sure if this is a new policy or I just got lucky, but it is definately a nice change

I have received either a suite [with RC privileges]or RC at Atlanta for years.
I have often called to request the suite and been given it almost always- so I don't believe this is a new policy- there at least.

They've been giving me the diamond ammenity at check-in (I'm only platinum this year) and I've never been denied an RC upgrade at my usual stop using 1-800-CHECK-IN.
I don't know if this is policy or not, or even if it's very widespread between the suite upgrades and the extras I've been getting, but they seem to be going out of their way to take care of their frequent stayers.
Policy or not, I appreciate it. It makes a difference to me when I'm traveling.
